New Acquisition - Fuji Declaration Single Speed / Fixed Gear, 52 cm Frame Size
2024-January-29 - My latest acquisition is a Fuji Declaration single speed / fixed gear bike. The frame size is 52 cm. The Declaration comes in a number of frame sizes including 52 cm and 55 cm. 55 cm would probably have been better for me but the jury is still out on that one. This was an opportunistic buy on Kijiji as I got it for a very good price. The bike retails for CAN$700 brand new at the time of writing, I paid $150 for this used one.
The bike is not equipped with the original handlebars but with an extra wide flat bar set. I will replace these as they are too wide for me. Will probably install dropbars. Will experiment with fixed gear riding once the handlebars have been changed.
